Great view from the visitor’s center Heading into the natural entrance Wow it is huge Thank goodness we can take the elevator out Heading into the dark now The opening is so far above us now Last picture with natural light Heading deeper, 2.5 miles total Love all the stalagmites and stalactites So glad we could do this cave at our own pace without a ranger guide Some of these passages were so big The pictures don’t do it justice Lots of switchbacks going down Room for a whole amphitheater here So cool. Glad we did this cave last after Wind Cave and Mammoth Cave That is part of the path way over there We’ve hiked almost 20 miles in the past three days, with no shower!
