US HWY 50 aka Lincoln Highway aka The loneliest highway in America Random cow at sand mountain Very few cars here Decided to take some pictures in the road All the snowy mountains were really unexpected Looks like Antarctica This was the first transcontinental automobile route in America We took a lot of road pictures here Wheeler Peak in Big Basin National Park

Geeze not exactly a warm welcome to northern Nevada No microwave in the room, good thing we have our own Views from the hotel room Don’t be fooled it is cold out there Nice to have a hotel room, look how big the bed is Checking out the hotel pool Working from the hotel Hiking in the snow Huffaker Hills Nice views of the valley and surrounding mountains We had to trudge through the snow in a couple spots Luckily the sun was out and there was no wind At the top of the hill There is Reno Shelby lived here for a summer while working for Tesla Driving to Lake Tahoe We made it So glad the road was cleared 1 day after a big storm Another lunch with a view Really glad we got to at least come here and see the lake Too much snow for a hike though So much snow
