Going on a 4 mile tour
Basically a hike through the cave
Really loved this tour
It was very developed with lots of stairs, handrails and sidewalks
Our whole tour group, about 25 people
Very cool cave. Literally, it was cold
So we saw about 1% of the whole 400 mile cave system
Cool room with a wrap around staircase
Getting to the dripstone part now
Very yellow here
Great cave features here
One picture together in the cave
These rocks were caged in?
Last one, with lots of dripstone
Walked over to the historic entrance
Cool you can walk into it a bit
Nice to see another part of the cave
Very large natural entrance
Figured a four mile cave hike wasn’t enough so we did another 4 above ground
Nice view
Shelby says I look good
Very cool underground river outlet
Wonder if we are walking over the cave right now
Another natural cave entrance, this one was closed off for bat habitation
Not sure what this river was, Shelby planned this day ask her
Obligatory road picture in Kentucky
Working away
Next adventure: natural bridge
Lots of stairs here
Lots and lots of stairs
Huge fungi thing
Very cool rock features here
Awesome rock stairs
Sandstone erosions
Lookout point with a great view of the natural bridge
Cute
Nice views
On top of battleship rock
We are going to walk on that
Wait, we could have avoided all those stairs!?!
Nice view
That’s where the lookout was
Can’t even tell that it is a bridge
On the natural bridge now
Walking down under the bridge
That is cool
Skinny crevice we had to walk through
I got nothing
Balanced rock, hope it doesn’t fall right now
Hanging in the “rock shelter”
A new area now
Rock Bridge, real original with the naming
Another natural rock bridge
The only one in the area over water
Hi up there
Hello down there
Third bridge now
Really like the views with cliffy rock features
We just walked across that
Looks kinda thin across the top
So these bridges were all in the Red River Gorge area
Which is within the Daniel Boone National Forest
Running out of captions
Still a nice view
Made a detour to Nada tunnel
Very small single lane tunnel
And back through again
Cave run lake
Really nice view
Lots of bugs though
Hey pretty woman
Soaking it up
One last look
One last pic
Didn’t take enough pics of the rocky shore so here is one
KFC in Kentucky
Relaxing in the back while watching the game
Another library pic
Making dinner again
Sometimes I feel like we make better meals on the road than some people make at home
Massages at Planet Fitness
Included with our memberships

Back at the library
