Florida Week 1 (Jacksonville, Orlando, Miami)

  • Making dinner at a park near Jacksonville
  • So nice out

  • Heading to Tampa
  • Universal Studios Islands of Adventure
  • Nice day for an amusement park

  • Very busy
  • We got soaked on this raft ride
  • Our favorite rides were Hagrid’s motorcycles and the Velocicoaster
  • Hogsmeade
  • I liked this but it wasn’t Shelby’s favorite
  • Awesome projector light show on the castle
  • Eating dinner at The Three Broomsticks
  • It was cool walking around the theme park at night

  • Now on to Volcano Bay water park

  • Really cool volcano with slides in and around it

  • The river even had a tunnel under the volcano

  • Making grilled cheese and tomato soup for dinner
  • Drove through Miami at night and stopped to see the skyline
  • Very nice, larger than I expected

Florida Week 2 (Key West, Everglades, Gulf Coast)

  • The Cybrarium in Homestead,
  • Driving out along the Florida Keys
  • Very scenic on the long bridges
  • There were roosters all over in Key West
  • Trying some Cuban food
  • Lol a chicken and some chicks right next to our table
  • Food was very good
  • 90 Miles to Cuba!
  • Shelby actually went to Cuba a few years ago
  • Scenic sign I guess
  • Funky tree!

  • Scenic lighthouse
  • Southernmost point of our trip

  • It’s all north from here

  • We saw an American crocodile!

  • Not bad, a little chewy, the sauce was great
  • Biking the shark valley road
  • Finally saw an alligator
  • We only had two hours to bike 15 miles so we had to rush a little bit
  • This was my favorite bird
  • Made it half way to the observation tower
  • Wow legs were sore, its been a while since we’ve biked
