View of Omaha, Nebraska from across the Missouri River in Iowa Following in the footsteps of Lewis and Clark once again Starting to see more trees finally, and still lots of corn Quick pit stop in Shelby, Iowa Up for a little sunset walk? High Trestle Trail near Des Moines Nice view of the valley Sunset over the Des Moines River High Trestle Trail Bridge Apparently this is one of the top attractions on the whole state Oh okay, thats cool Glad we stayed till dark Very interesting Berry picking after spending the night in Des Moines So many endless fields in Iowa I found a good one Some fields just look like green lakes Fresh picked Iowa corn Glad to be in areas like this and out of the western desert plains We saw lots of massive windmills while driving through the state Never seen farms this big before Does this look familiar? Here’s a hint And the answer Another park, another dinner Cooking our hand picked corn Finally saved up enough BBQ sauces for BBQ chicken! Trying a few different cooking methods, both tasted great View of the Mississippi river from the park we made dinner at. Nice library for working in Burlington, Iowa Found this in the library. I wonder who it belongs to Cool bridge over the Mississippi river Famous curvy road, I guess it’s another top attraction in Iowa Pretty cool actually Old Fort Madison Glad to be back along the Mississippi Fort was rebuilt as a historical replica We didn’t pay to go in Not sure if this train was significant or not. Took a picture anyway just in case
